WHAT TO WEAR
Getting Ready for your Shoot
Boudoir is all about celebrating your beauty, feeling confident in your skin, and expressing your personality. What you wear is an important part of that experience. Depending on your package, you will want to bring 2 to 3 outfits, or 4 to 5 if you are booking the Indulge experience. If you are envisioning using a sheet as one of your looks, let me know in advance. We can create implied nude images that feel artistic, tasteful, and incredibly empowering. And if you are considering topless portraits, everything we create is done with intention and care, so you always feel completely comfortable.
The most important thing is choosing pieces that feel like you. Your outfits should highlight what you love most about yourself and fit you beautifully. This could be a lace bodysuit, a bra and matching set, or something more relaxed like long socks with an off-the-shoulder sweater. Even a favorite sports jersey can be styled to feel confident and elevated. Feel free to bring robes, skirts, heels, veils, garters, or meaningful accessories to add variety.
If you start to feel overwhelmed, remember that simple is powerful. Some of the most striking images come from effortless looks. During your consultation and at any time before your session, I am here to help with suggestions. I also have a curated boudoir Pinterest board filled with inspiration that I would love to share with you.
